American College of
Healthcare Executives (ACHE) - The ACHE is an international
professional society of 30,000 healthcare executives who lead
hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations.
The ACHE is known for its prestigious credentialing and educational
programs and its annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership, which
draws more than 4,000 participants each year. ACHE is also known for
its journals, the Journal of Healthcare Management and
Frontiers of Health Services Management and its magazine,
Healthcare Executive, as well as ground-breaking research and
career development and public policy programs.

2. American Academy
of Medical Administrators (AAMA) -
AAMA was founded in 1957, AAMA is an association of
multi-disciplinary healthcare management at all levels, within all
types of health organizations. The AAMA’s mission is to advance
Academy members and the field of healthcare management, and to
promote excellence and integrity in healthcare delivery and

3. Medical Group
Management Association (MGMA) -
MGMA started as a small network of clinic managers, called the
National Association of Clinic Managers, which met for the first
time in Madison, Wis., in 1926. The association's name was changed
to the Medical Group Management Association in 1963 to reflect the
diverse management roles found in group practice. MGMA is the nation's principal voice for the medical group practice profession serves. The MGMA’s 20,000 members lead and manage more than 12,000 organizations in which more than 242,000 physicians practice. Its diverse membership comprises administrators, CEOs, physicians in management, board members, office manager and many other management professionals. Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS) - Established by Congress in 1972, and graduating its first class in 1980, USU has a worldwide reputation as a center of excellence for military and emergency health professions education and research. USU’s programs are unique, related to force health protection, military medicine, tropical diseases, disaster medicine, military medical readiness and adaptation to extreme environments. CAHME promotes, evaluates, and improves the quality of graduate healthcare management education in the United States and Canada. Through their partnership with the academe and the field of practice, CAHME serves universities and programs in a voluntary peer review process as a means to continuously improve graduate education. 9. American Public Health Association (APHA) - The APHA is the oldest and largest organization of public health professionals in the world, representing more than 50,000 members from over 50 occupations of public health.
· providing a focus and a platform for the enhancement of existing and emerging academic public health programs; · working with various agencies of the federal government on projects aimed at strengthening public health education and the public health profession; · assisting its member schools in the development and coordination of national health policies; · serving as an information center for governmental and private groups and individuals whose concerns overlap those of higher education for public health; and, · assisting in meeting national goals of disease prevention and health promotion.
